"Carpet, designed by Jaume Tresserras in the 80's, is a piece of furniture-desk of great originality and elegance. Its name reflects its concept: the structure of the desk is inspired by a folder that opens to reveal drawers and compartments inside. The top cover has a soft, wavy shape, suggesting flexibility, as if it were a leather cover. The drawers, on the other hand, are designed with inclined and staggered shapes, recalling the tabs of a file folder that overlap each other.

The materials chosen reinforce the sophisticated character of the piece: sycamore is used on the interiors, creating a refined contrast with the walnut on the exterior, whose natural veins add warmth and distinction. The ensemble is completed with silver-plated hardware and leather straps, details that underscore the handcrafted luxury and attention to detail characteristic of Tresserras' design.

The Carpett secreter and other iconic Tresserra pieces were used to set the Batman universe and later chosen by directors such as Pedro Almodóvar, who incorporated Tresserra furniture in films such as "Carne trémula" and "La flor de mi secreto", thus consolidating the international and cultural projection of his work.

Jaime Tresserra began his projection in 1987 when he presented his first collection at the Valencia International Furniture Fair, where he won the Award for Best Modern Furniture Design. In 1994 he founded Tresserra Collection, a firm dedicated to the exclusive production of his designs. His pieces were exhibited at international fairs such as Milan and Cologne and received awards such as the ID International Design Magazine Award and the International Design Review Award in New York, consolidating him as a reference in Spanish design at the end of the 20th century.
