The Tensor auxiliary furniture continues the stylistic guidelines that catapulted Jaume Tresserra to the top of international design. It is a minimalist and seductive piece of furniture, common aspects in his work, in which the noble texture of the materials combines with the fineness of the finishes, as well as with the play of full and empty spaces. The neatness of the five modules or storage blocks, with multiple drawers and trays inside, is accentuated by the fineness of the acid-etched glass, which envelops the structures creating a single, compact and balanced whole. The front of the central blocks, however, is free of glazed surface.
Jaime Tresserra began his projection in 1987 when he presented his first collection at the Valencia International Furniture Fair, where he won the Award for Best Design in Modern Furniture. In 1994 he founded Tresserra Collection, a firm dedicated to the exclusive production of his designs. His pieces were exhibited at international fairs such as Milan and Cologne and received awards such as the ID International Design Magazine Award and the International Design Review Award in New York, consolidating him as a reference in Spanish design at the end of the 20th century.
