Outdoor sculptural set consisting of armchairs and side tables with organic shapes, made of fiberglass with a textured finish with a stone effect. The pieces stand out for their marked formal originality, halfway between functional furniture, environmental sculpture and garden architecture.
They feature free, enveloping volumes with a strong plastic presence. The biomorphic, almost primitive forms evoke natural cavities, eroded structures and carved blocks, generating a brutalist aesthetic of great expressiveness. Each piece functions as an autonomous object, but the whole acquires special strength when presented grouped together, configuring a scene of almost architectural character.
The choice of fiberglass makes it possible to reproduce the mineral appearance of the stone with greater lightness and versatility, favoring curved and compact forms that are difficult to execute in traditional materials. The aged finish intensifies its material-sculptural dimension and reinforces its appearance as a unique piece, linked to the passage of time and outdoor use.
Because of its scale, rarity and visual forcefulness, the set constitutes a particularly singular proposal within the outdoor furniture of the late twentieth century. More than a simple garden set, it is presented as a habitable installation, capable of dialoguing with terraces, patios and architectural landscapes.
