Cadaqués desk, designed by Federico Correa and Alfonso Milá for Gres. It is characterized by a sober and architectural language, based on a structure of orthogonal lines, rectangular top and double legs joined by crossbeams, which provide stability and a strong graphic presence.

Made of black lacquered ukola wood, it combines functionality and formal rigor with restrained elegance. The two drawers integrated under the top reinforce its use as a work table, while the purity of its construction places it within modern Spanish design, close to interior architecture and mid-twentieth-century designer furniture.

The tandem of architects and designers Federico Correa and Alfonso Milá, both born in 1924, were one of the most outstanding references of the Modern Movement in the second half of the 20th century. Correa and Milá followed the slogan that interior and industrial design were part of the same architectural project. Collaborators of José Antonio Coderch, they founded their own studio in 1953. Architecture of summer houses in Cadaqués, institutional and residential buildings, sports stadiums, factories and offices, interior design for the legendary restaurants FlashFlash or Il Giardinetto and singular and iconic design pieces to equip their own works and for furniture companies such as Gres.
