Exceptional pair of wall sconces of strong sculptural character, made of patinated wrought iron and hammered and gilded copper cups. These pieces stand out for their powerful visual presence and their refined balance between materiality, light and form, each wall sconce is structured from dynamic helical spiral arms that develop around the light axis, generating a graphic effect of great architectural intensity. This formal language, close to decorative brutalism and post-war ferronnerie d'art, turns each piece into a true sculptural relief on the wall.
The back panels, worked with leaf motifs cut out of iron, provide a subtle organic contrast that enriches the composition. This decorative resource evokes the work of great masters of artistic ironwork such as Jean Royère, Gilbert Poillerat or Diego Giacometti, as well as the production of French and Italian workshops specialized in high quality ferronnerie.
The hammered copper, with its warm and vibrant patina, contrasts with the depth of the patinated iron, creating a highly sophisticated interplay of materials.
Pieces of extraordinary decorative strength, ideal for contemporary interiors, brutalist spaces or interior design projects with sculptural and elegant accents.
