Adrian Frutiger was a Swiss typographer and type designer considered one of the most influential of the 20th century. He is known for creating iconic typefaces such as Univers, Frutiger, and Avenir, which stand out for their clarity, functionality, and excellent legibility. His work revolutionized type design by developing typeface families organized as complete systems and by always prioritizing readability over ornamentation.
