A large-scale desk inspired by the design language of Léon Jallot and his son Maurice Jallot, leading figures in French Art Deco furniture. The piece features a symmetrical and bold composition, with a wide tabletop, two side storage units, and an open central space. The black finish enhances the architectural elegance of the piece, while the brass and acrylic details add luminosity and refinement.
The design combines clean lines, monumental proportions, and a carefully crafted decorative presence. The slightly flared side legs soften the austerity of the form and give the desk a distinguished silhouette.
Léon Jallot was one of the leading figures in French furniture design during the first half of the 20th century. Trained in the decorative arts, he participated in the Salon d’Automne and the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs, and created furniture characterized by elegant lines, fine woods, and meticulous craftsmanship. His son, Maurice Jallot, continued the family workshop, evolving toward more modern and refined forms.
