DESCRIPTION
Set of four swivel armchairs, inspired by Arne Jacobsen's "Swan" model, 1980s.
Padded frames upholstered in green and white PVC-coated fabric.
Swivel chairs with hydraulic height adjustment.
Circular stainless steel bases.
They show slight signs of wear.
Measurements: 104 x 69 x 60 cm
The set reinterprets the characteristic organic and enveloping silhouette of the “Swan” armchair, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the reception and lounge areas of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and produced by Fritz Hansen. In these examples, the addition of a circular base and an adjustable hydraulic mechanism adapts this iconic Scandinavian design to a style of professional furniture typical of the 1980s.
