A table lamp signed by the prestigious Maison Charles (Paris), a true icon of 20th-century French design. Inspired by Neoclassicism, it stands out for its solid cubic base, crowned by a magnificent shaft shaped like an antique-style Medici vase. The piece is made entirely of solid bronze, featuring exceptional chiseling work that includes a fluted body and delicate rings decorated with guilloché motifs. Its greatest appeal lies in the magnificent golden patina acquired over time, with subtle reflections, which guarantees its authenticity and age, having never been altered by polishing.
Maison Charles was founded by designers of the caliber of Jacques Charles and Chrystiane Charles. Together, they established the Maison as a leading name in the field of industrial design. Their creations are distinguished by neoclassical-inspired elegance, functionality, and understated sophistication. The Charleses have won numerous awards for their designs. Jacques was awarded the Compasso d’Oro in 1989. He is also a member of the advisory committee of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and of the Comité Colbert, which brings together the leading French luxury houses.
