An attractive pair of lamps that captures the essence of mid-century Scandinavian design. Created in the style of the renowned Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson, they stand out for their strong connection to natural materials. The wood, with its beautiful grain and warm tone, is the undisputed star of this set, bringing serenity and warmth to any room. Each lamp rests on a circular base that gives way to a cylindrical shaft with austere lines. The greatest visual appeal of the design lies in the spherical shades, composed of a series of wooden slats arranged concentrically. This ingenious geometry gives the pieces a sculptural volume and is designed to interact with the light, creating a visual effect that is very characteristic of the era. When lit, the arrangement of the slats acts as a delicate, organic diffuser. The light filters through the slits, casting an enveloping, amber glow and creating an exceptionally intimate atmosphere. When unlit, they maintain a strong architectural presence.
