Created by designer Willy Rizzo, a key figure in understanding the glamour of 1970s interior design. The BD Lumínica model is a true reflection of his aesthetic, where geometric purity intertwines with the visual richness of fine materials, resulting in objects that are true works of functional and sculptural art. The lamp rests on a square brass base, accented with black details. This metal displays a natural patina that bears witness to the passage of decades, giving it an authentic and inimitable character. Resting atop this solid structure of straight lines is the design’s main and most striking element: an imposing spherical body made of antique glazed ceramic. This large central sphere features a rich, textured pattern that blends deep shades of green and black, creating a visual effect clearly inspired by nature. The piece culminates at the top with a gold-finished metal cap that houses the socket.
