Conceived as a “sunburst mirror,” the piece transforms elements from a piano into a radial composition with a striking decorative effect. The alternating pattern of white and black keys makes the musical origin of the materials immediately recognizable, while the long wooden mechanisms extend outward from the center like rays. Its handcrafted nature and the ingenious reuse of original instrument parts give the piece a striking visual uniqueness.
