Sculptor and silversmith Just Andersen is known for his candlesticks, vases and figures in pewter, brass and copper. He trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. After completing his studies, he designed works for Georg Jensen and in 1918 opened his own silversmith company. His works are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, among others.
