Painted terra cotta.
With manufacturing marks and numbering on the reverse.
It shows wear and some slight chipping.
Measurements: 60 x 37 x 27 cm.
Female bust in terracotta of German manufacture and Jugendstil style. It represents a young nymph with a smiling face and abundant hair falling in anarchic locks. Water lilies and other flowers decorate her hair and waist. Her captivating smile and flowing hair evoke the freedom and vital energy characteristic of the organic decorative style of modernism.
