Carbon fiber sculpture-model that reproduces the McLaren Speedtail, conceived by Emmanuel Zurini commissioned by Richard Mille, within a project that fuses automotive design, high precision engineering and contemporary sculptural language. The piece stands out for the aerodynamic purity of its lines, the matte finish of the carbon and the extreme formal purity, which transfer to the artistic field the values of speed, innovation and exclusivity typical of the McLaren universe.
The sculptural treatment dispenses with any superfluous element, concentrating on the continuous and fluid silhouette of the vehicle, here converted into an autonomous object of contemplation. The character of Artist Proof (EA.1) reinforces its uniqueness within the edition, underlining its status as a reference piece directly linked to the artist and the original creative process. The signed aluminum base completes the ensemble, providing a technical and museographic counterpoint in keeping with the nature of the project.
Emmanuel Zurini is a French sculptor and designer known for his collaborations with major watchmaking and luxury automotive brands, in which he explores the relationship between art, speed and technology. His work has been presented in exhibition contexts linked to avant-garde design and engineering, and is part of a contemporary tradition that connects sculpture, industrial object and limited edition, with a presence in international private collections and in spaces associated with firms such as Richard Mille and McLaren Automotive.
