Throughout his career, he worked with various materials such as stone, iron, steel, wood, cardboard, l'object trouvé, as well as polyurethane foam or plastic. Several of his works have been exhibited in various cultural centers, foundations, galleries and museums such as the Juan March Foundation, Vila Casas Foundation, Fran Daurel Museum, "la Caixa" Foundation and Àmbit Galeria d'Art, among others.
His sculptures range from figuration to abstraction; from absolute synthesis, arising from the discretion of the line, to forms of corporeal density; the work of Lluís Blanc responds to the introspection and evolution of an artist interested in giving voice to matter and concerned with the combination of certain materials that express themselves with a life of their own. Versatility of languages, porous material textures, smooth surfaces and lace or stone assemblages, like molded fragments of nature, of reality, which he converts into small pieces of the universal soul that fluctuate within his discourse. Stamps torn from momentary chance, instants endowed with an unfinished, infinite movement... non finito miquelangelesco that permeates some of his works.
