It includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the author, who personally supervised and approved the process of making the piece.

Jordi Díez (Valladolid, 1966) is a sculptor. He spent his early childhood in Barcelona, but after the death of his father, who was Catalan, the family moved to Madrid. He studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, where he graduated summa cum laude in sculpture. In 1989 he opened his first workshop in Fresnedillas de la Oliva, in the Community of Madrid, where he defined the sculptural concept of his work. In 1996 he moved to Barceloneta and currently lives and works in Centelles.
Figurative expression, and especially the human figure, is the central axis of his work. Throughout his career he has used various materials, such as stone, iron, wood and terracotta, although he currently works exclusively with steel. The large bust Celia and the "transparent" sculpture Winged Man are two of the best examples of his current conception: a search for the essential through the use of what is strictly necessary to express a figure. Thus, he places it in a sort of "frontier of reality", covering the air it contains with rods in all directions, combining dense and material areas with others that are open, ethereal and barely present.
His work is present in public and private spaces around the world. In 2015 he was a guest artist at A.R.T. (Art Revolution Taipei 2015).
