DESCRIPTION
FERNANDO NAVAJAS (1960).
"Paso Firme".
Marmolina and resin binder. Marble base.
Measurements: 70 x 23 x 48 cm.
The work represents a human figure in movement, capturing a sense of advancement, determination and balance through an expressive and contained formal language. Its composition transmits solidity and dynamism at the same time, establishing a dialogue between gesture and matter. Made of marble and resin binder, it stands on a marble base that reinforces its stability and sculptural presence. The texture and treatment of the surfaces provide visual depth and a remarkable material-expressive richness.
