The photograph on tender is closely related to one of Lewis W. Hine's most emblematic works, "Lunch at the Top of a Skyscraper" (1932), a historic image that portrays eleven workers eating lunch on a beam while Rockefeller Center was being built.
Lewis W. Hine was an American photographer and sociologist who used photography as a tool for social denunciation in the early 20th century. He documented the arrival of immigrants to Ellis Island and, above all, the harsh conditions of child labor in factories, mines and workshops, with the aim of promoting labor reforms in the United States. His images, of a strong documentary and humanist nature, contributed to raising public awareness and promoting changes in legislation. He also portrayed workers in major projects such as the construction of the Empire State Building, establishing himself as a key figure in social photography. His is the famous photograph "Lunch at the top of a skyscraper", 1932.
