Rosette Ring with Ceylon Sapphire and Diamonds

Rosette or cocktail ring featuring a Ceylon sapphire and diamonds, set in 18k yellow gold.
The ring is centered by a large, 6.97-carat natural sapphire, oval-cut, blue in color, and from Sri Lanka (Ceylon), set in prongs. According to the GIA certificate, the gem has not undergone heat treatment.
The sapphire is enhanced by a wide border of brilliant-cut diamonds, which extends over the shoulders through a rich arrangement of brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds. The total weight of the diamonds is 2.61 ct., color F/G, clarity VVS.
The setting, with a slightly raised structure and striking presence, combines openwork profiles with a staggered arrangement of the gemstones that allows light to enter and amplifies the volume of the front.
