A wide-band ring with a gently domed profile, crafted by layering two curved sections of yellow and white gold. One of the bands features a row of princess-cut diamonds set in a rail setting, whose diagonal path accentuates the composition’s enveloping movement.
The interior of the setting reveals the assembly elements—screws—which are integrated into its complex construction.
Cartier occupies a pivotal place in the history of fine jewelry, and its creations are part of a particularly robust international collector’s market. The continuity of its major design lines, the quality of its craftsmanship, and the immediate recognizability of its pieces have made the Maison a benchmark for both specialized collectors and lovers of designer jewelry. In this field, pieces that retain the signature, serial number, and distinctive features of a recognizable collection are particularly valued—qualities that reinforce their historical significance, traceability, and appeal at auction.
