Pair of table lamps made by Marius-Ernest Sabino around 1930, within the refined French Art Deco language. The pieces combine a gilded bronze structure with molded glass elements of undulating profile, arranged in horizontal registers that bring rhythm and lightness to the whole.

The design stands out for the contrast between the warmth of the bronze and the translucent delicacy of the glass, whose sinuous form introduces an elegant and decorative movement. The textile lampshades, made at a later date, respect the proportion and spirit of the lamps, allowing a warm, filtered light.

This is a particularly attractive pair for its balance between architectural sobriety and ornamental detail, qualities characteristic of high-end Art Deco lighting. The presence of signature and conservation as a whole reinforce its collector interest.

Marius-Ernest Sabino, of Sicilian origin, trained at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. After the First World War he founded his own manufacture, specializing in molded glass with relief decorations, and from the twenties participated in official commissions and Parisian salons, establishing himself as one of the key figures of Art Deco glass.
