Victorian style bureau with hinged lid, made of walnut wood and topped by a white marble top. The piece presents a vertical structure of sober lines, with upper drawer, central hinged door and four lower drawers, supported on a plinth with molded feet. Its design responds to the bourgeois furniture of the 19th century, which combined functionality, storage capacity and decorative presence.

Particularly noteworthy is the incorporation of a safe inside, by Soler, a Barcelona firm specializing in chests and scales. This element turns the cabinet into a mixed-use piece, intended both for writing and organizing documents and for storing valuables. The hinged door also acts as a support or writing surface, reinforcing its practical nature.

The contrast between the hardwood, the metal front of the safe and the upper white marble adds material richness to the whole.
