Catalan Gothic chest. In polychrome wood on the outside walls, it has an architectural form inspired by an ecclesiastical chapel. The scenes, inscribed in rectangular and round frames, represent a medieval bestiary iconography combined with rosettes and geometric compositions. The fittings are original, and beyond their function, they contribute to the design of the piece. Due to the loss of paint it is not possible to clearly appreciate the type of animals depicted, but some of them may allude to the tetramorph. This type of chest was intended for transporting and storing valuable goods.
