Nettur Petti ethnic jewellery box. It consists of a rectangular ornamental box with a pyramidal lid traditionally used in Kerala by royal women and temple priests to keep their jewellery. Handmade from almond wood and chiselled fittings with beautiful openwork designs in brass, it bears testimony to a long and rich tradition.
