This is a travel case, which houses different types of compasses, precision needles, couplings for accessories, drawing straightedges, slide rules and protractors. It also incorporates pencils and other drawing elements. This set of instruments is a microcosm of Victorian-era technical and design instrumentation, revealing a set of high-quality tools made of steel and wood.
