It has minor damage (two fingers) on one of the hands.

This automaton group closely follows the designs of Leopold Lambert, one of the most important creators of automaton figures in France at the time.

Automatic dolls are mechanical figures that mimic life as it was at the time, sometimes in a parodic tone. They have complex movements that allow them to perform various actions once wound up, such as dancing, playing musical instruments, or even smoking. These were not toys intended for children, but rather collectible pieces treasured by an adult audience.
