On a low silver base decorated with stylized roses, an ancient chariot stands next to the figures of a discus thrower and a torch bearer, symbols that evoke the Olympic spirit. In the narrowest part, from which the upper dome emerges, six golden griffins stand out and reappear among the sports scenes depicted on the dome. The dome, silver on the outside and with a circular golden interior, is also guarded by six griffins and is conceived as an exceptional piece, capable of holding up to a dozen magnum bottles to cool them and celebrate a great victory. Said victory is linked to one of the six major disciplines represented here: tennis, soccer, boxing, skiing, cycling and motor racing, reflecting the artist's knowledge that the latter was part of the extensive program of the 1900 Olympic Games.
