DESCRIPTION
Set of five almireces with their respective maces. XVIII-XIX Century.
Bronze.
Exhibits wear consistent with age and use, signs and patina.
Measurements: 8 x 16 x 16 cm (the largest).
Set of five bronze almireces, all of them accompanied by their corresponding maces. The pieces respond to traditional models of the XVIII and XIX centuries, with bodies of truncated cone profile, open mouths and molded bases.
The decoration in relief of several specimens stands out, with motifs of scallops, masks, schematic figures and ribs, a characteristic element of numerous antique almireces. The maces have cylindrical shafts with molded tops, following the usual typology of the almireces destined for domestic or pharmaceutical use.
