In Reflejos, number IV, Jaume Plensa presents an image of great visual force where the human face becomes a space for reflection on identity. Constructed by means of a grid close to digital modeling, the profile emerges with precision to vanish in glazes and runoffs, generating a tension between presence and disappearance.

The work, made with photosensitive polymer plate, combines technical sophistication and material subtlety. Within the Reflejos series, Plensa approaches identity as a superposition of layers and perceptions, in line with his recent production. These limited editions are especially appreciated for their ability to transfer to paper the language of one of Spain's most internationally renowned artists.

Jaume Plensa has had an extensive international career, with outstanding exhibitions such as the retrospective held at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in 2000.

He has received important recognitions, among them the National Prize of Plastic Arts of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Medal of Knight of Arts and Letters of the French Ministry of Culture. His work is part of important international collections and museums such as the MoMA in New York, the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid and the MACBA in Barcelona.
