“Lola, Espejo oscuro” (1966), directed by Fernando Merino, is a Spanish drama based on the novel of the same name by Darío Fernández Flórez. Starring Emma Penella, Carlos Estrada, and Manolo Gómez Bur, the film stands out for Penella’s performance; she was one of the most renowned actresses in Spanish cinema at the time.
The original release poster, designed by Villamayor, is a representative example of Spanish film poster design from the 1960s.
