*Impossible for an Old Maid* (1976) is one of the most unique films in Lina Morgan’s filmography. Directed by Rafael Romero Marchent, the story follows Gina, a 35-year-old woman who, after being rejected because of her weight, sees her life change when she meets an attractive doctor whose true intentions make her suspicious. Lina Morgan’s performance was particularly noteworthy and earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Film Writers’ Circle Awards, making it one of the most distinctive and memorable roles of her film career.
