Original theatrical poster for *Alice* (1990), written and directed by Woody Allen and starring Mia Farrow, one of the filmmaker’s most frequent collaborators during the 1980s and 1990s. Loosely based on Lewis Carroll’s *Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland*, the film combines humor, fantasy, and reflection to tell the story of the personal transformation of a well-to-do New York woman who, after visiting a peculiar doctor specializing in Eastern herbs, begins to rethink her life, her marriage, and her true desires.
Mia Farrow’s performance was particularly praised by critics, and the film received excellent reviews and earned several nominations for the BAFTA Awards and the Golden Globes.
