Complete set of the catalog raisonné of Joan Miró’s drawings, edited by Daniel Lelong in collaboration with Successió Miró. This publication is an essential bibliographic reference for the study and cataloging of the artist’s works on paper, spanning from his earliest drawings in 1901 to his final works in 1981.

The six volumes cover the different stages of his career as a draftsman: Volume I, 1901–1937; Volume II, 1938–1959; Volume III, 1960–1972; Volume IV, 1973–1976; Volume V, 1977; and Volume VI, 1978–1981. This extensive body of work highlights the importance of drawing in Miró’s creative process, not only as a preparatory medium but also as an autonomous realm of formal, poetic, and gestural experimentation.

Due to its comprehensive nature, meticulous editing, and documentary significance, this is an essential reference work for collectors, specialists, galleries, and institutions, and is particularly useful for verifying chronologies, bibliographic references, provenance, and technical data related to Miró’s graphic work.

Joan Miró was one of the leading figures in 20th-century art. Trained in Barcelona and associated with the Parisian avant-garde since the 1920s, he developed a unique artistic language based on the sign, color, formal refinement, and intense poetic freedom. His work is represented in institutions such as the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró in Palma, MoMA in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Tate in London.
