Complete set of the catalog raisonné of Joan Miró’s paintings, edited by Daniel Lelong in collaboration with Successió Miró, an essential bibliographic reference for the study, identification, and cataloging of the artist’s pictorial output. The publication brings together in six volumes the work created between 1908 and 1981, from his earliest works as a young artist to his compositions from his mature period.

The individual volumes cover Miró’s major creative periods: Volume I, 1908–1930; Volume II, 1931–1941; Volume III, 1942–1955; Volume IV, 1959–1968; Volume V, 1969–1975; and Volume VI, 1976–1981. It is a first-rate documentary resource, particularly significant for its comprehensiveness, the quality of its production, and its usefulness for verifying chronologies, bibliographic references, provenance, and technical details of the artist’s paintings.

Joan Miró was one of the leading figures in 20th-century art. Trained in Barcelona and associated with Parisian avant-garde circles since the 1920s, he developed a language of his own, based on formal refinement, the sign, color, and a deeply personal poetics. His work is represented in institutions such as the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró in Palma, MoMA in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Tate in London.
