*Capturing Life* brings together forty images selected by McCurry himself, taken between 1982 and 2023 in various countries. The edition encapsulates his characteristic humanistic vision, rooted in portraiture, vibrant color, and the capture of deeply emotional moments.

The inclusion of the famous “Afghan Girl” on the slipcase commemorates the fortieth anniversary of this photograph. The meticulous printing, handcrafted binding, and the photographer’s direct involvement make this volume a collector’s item that bridges the gap between an illustrated book and an art edition.

Steve McCurry is one of the most renowned documentary photographers of recent decades. His work explores conflicts, traditions, and cultures around the world, standing out for his expressive use of color and the power of his portraits. A member of Magnum Photos since 1986, he has published numerous books and been the subject of major international exhibitions.
