In *Endless Life of People*, Yayoi Kusama brings together some of her most characteristic motifs: dots, eyes, faces, and organic, cell-like forms. The accumulation of elements, distributed without hierarchy across the entire surface, creates a dynamic composition with an intense visual rhythm. The vivid color and black outlines reinforce the work’s simultaneously playful and unsettling character. Through repetition, Kusama suggests a reality in constant expansion, linked to her reflections on life, identity, and the infinite.
Yayoi Kusama is one of the most influential artists in contemporary art. After settling in New York in 1957, she developed her own artistic language based on the repetition of dots, grids, and organic forms, which is present in her paintings, sculptures, and installations. Her work has been the subject of major retrospectives at institutions such as the Tate Modern, the Centre Pompidou, and the Whitney Museum, and is held in prominent international museums. Among her honors are the Praemium Imperiale and the Order of Culture of Japan. In 2017, the Yayoi Kusama Museum opened in Tokyo.
