This work narrates the biblical episode referred in the New Testament, which alludes to the miracle of Jesus and the daughter of Jairus. In the Gospel according to Mark, Jesus is in the house of Jairus, after having cured his wife, at that moment some men appear to tell Jairus that his daughter has died. After Jairus' dejection, Jesus tells him "Do not be afraid, just show faith", then Jesus and Jairus enter the house to see what happened, when Jesus says "The girl is not dead, she is asleep". At first, these words are received with distrust, provoking the mockery of some of those present. Then Jesus makes them leave the house, except for Peter, James, John, and the parents. Christ approaches the girl and whispers, "Little girl, I say to you: Arise (Tálitha cúmi), thus causing the girl to rise, being according to the gospels, the second occasion in which Jesus resurrects a deceased person.
