Kastro is a multidisciplinary artist whose career is characterized by a constant exploration of new media, materials, and visual languages. In the Kriatures collection, he develops a unique universe of interconnected characters—different yet united by a shared visual identity. Each figure represents a presence, a possible story, an individual within an emotional community. In *MUSIKA 05*, this imaginary world merges with music, transforming the instrument into a metaphor for collective harmony: each note, like each Kriature, is part of a larger composition.
A design instructor for over 20 years at leading Spanish companies, Kastro combines technology, art, and experimentation in work with an avant-garde spirit. Self-taught, his artistic language has evolved from the influence of Abstract Expressionism, Tachism, and Informalism toward a contemporary abstraction rooted in emotion, material, and texture. In 2018, he founded Maculae, a multidisciplinary collective dedicated to artistic exchange and creation. His work has been exhibited internationally and is included in collections in more than 40 countries.
