Jaume Amigó's visual abstraction is influenced by the shapes, textures and colors of nature that he has been discovering in his travels in Japan, a country he visited about 25 years ago. He paints with acrylics on linen canvas or silk paper made by himself. His works exude a certain oriental poetry. Likewise, his long stays in Morocco and Mallorca have left their mark on the work of this multifaceted artist. His work, characterized by a refined hieroglyphic language of simple lines and shapes, finds its source of inspiration in everyday utensils or in elements of nature such as fruits, flowers or clouds. He enjoys a wide trajectory at national and international level.
