Ricardo Cejudo Nogales was born in Puertollano. From a young age he showed a strong artistic vocation, training in a self-taught way and in the School of Arts and Crafts. He lived in Valencia, where he was linked to the Círculo de Bellas Artes, and since 1976 he has lived in Madrid, where he consolidated his career.
His work, influenced by impressionism, stands out for the expressive use of color and light, addressing themes such as the female figure, landscapes, flowers and compositions of great emotional charge. Throughout his career he has had more than ninety solo exhibitions in Spain and abroad (Mexico, Portugal, United Kingdom), and has been awarded in several national competitions.
His paintings are part of private and institutional collections in several countries. His unique style and artistic sensitivity make him a leading figure in contemporary Spanish painting.
