Consuelo Mencheta is a renowned contemporary Spanish painter. Doctor in Fine Arts, she has developed a luminous and colorful work focused on figuration and landscape, where the Mediterranean light becomes its main protagonist.

Her style, defined by serenity and balance, has led her to exhibit in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, as well as in countries such as Italy, the United States, Mexico and China. She has received several awards, including the Honorable Mention of the New York Summer Salon and the First Prize of the Círculo Artístico Sant Lluc in Barcelona.

In 2013, the scholar Antonio Martínez Cerezo published Consuelo Mencheta, el jardín de los colores que vuelan, a work that compiles her artistic career. Mencheta is considered one of the most outstanding female figures in Valencian art today, known for her mastery of color, light and the poetic atmosphere of her paintings.
