Filippos Tsitsopoulos is a contemporary Greek artist recognized for his innovative approach to painting, sculpture and installation, where abstraction and experimentation with materials are combined with a poetic sense of space and form. He trained in Athens and completed studies at international art centers, which allowed him to incorporate influences from European abstract expressionism and geometric abstraction, developing his own dynamic and vibrant visual language.
Tsitsopoulos has participated in solo and group exhibitions of international relevance, including shows in Athens, Berlin and New York, as well as in prestigious contemporary art fairs. His work is represented in important public and private collections, notably the Museum of Contemporary Art of Athens, the Onassis Cultural Center Collection and several European and North American collections, consolidating his position as one of the most relevant voices of contemporary Greek art.
His production is characterized by expressive strength, experimentation with textures and materials, and a balance between abstraction and emotion.
