Manuel Martí Font was an outstanding Valencian painter trained in the Schools of Fine Arts of Castellón and San Carlos de Valencia, whose prolific international career included more than 530 exhibitions in Spain and France. Especially recognized as a bullfighting painter, he made more than 200 oil paintings for posters -including the one for the centenary of the Castellón bullring- and his work is documented in reference works such as the encyclopedia "Los Toros" by Cossío. Awarded numerous national and international prizes, such as the National Painting Prize in Guadalajara and the medal of honor at the International Circle of the Arts in France, his work covers genres such as portraiture, landscape and still life, and is preserved in prestigious institutions such as the Bullfighting Museum of Las Ventas in Madrid and the Bullfighting Museum of Valencia.
