In La música, Rouger Lezcano Puig transfers the sound experience to the field of pictorial abstraction. The composition is constructed by means of material superimpositions, crossed lines and glazes that generate a vibrant surface, where gesture acts as rhythm and texture as visual resonance.

The work combines light areas of atmospheric appearance with ochre and gold backgrounds that provide depth and chromatic tension. The incisions, scratches and superimposed layers suggest movement, cadence and contained energy, evoking the invisible structure of sound rather than a literal representation of the musical.

Rouger Lezcano Puig is a self-taught Catalan artist, born in 1964. After developing his creative activity in a reserved way for years, his work was promoted by the Catalan association Pur Art and the Puro Arte Gallery. His production focuses on contemporary abstraction, with special attention to gesture, texture and the visual energy of the pictorial surface.
