Galician painter Pedro Muiño held his first solo exhibition in 1971 at the Sala Municipal in Ferrol, and since then has held solo exhibitions in other Galician cities, as well as in Madrid, Murcia, Alicante, Valencia, Bilbao, and Barcelona. Since the 1970s, he has also participated in group exhibitions and art fairs held in Spain, France, and the United States. Furthermore, in 1997 he was awarded the Julián Trincado Prize at the 5th Mostra Unión Fenosa in A Coruña. His work is currently represented in the Unión Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art in A Coruña, the Galician Center for Contemporary Art in Santiago de Compostela, the Carlos Maside Museum in O Castro, the Bello Piñeiro Museum in Ferrol, the collection of the International Bank of Miami, that of Banco de Sabadell, BBVA, the Provincial Council and City Council of A Coruña, the National Library, and other public and private collections.
