Rubén Borré is a painter, draftsman, and sculptor with a solid track record in his country’s visual arts. His work is characterized by strong draftsmanship and a figurative style of painting that blends realism, symbolism, and a deep interest in Argentine identity and culture. Throughout his career, he has held more than fifty solo exhibitions and participated in over two hundred group shows in countries such as Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, South Korea, and Paraguay. His work is included in international public and private collections, reflecting the recognition he has achieved within the Ibero-American art scene. Among the numerous awards he has received are First Prize at the Salón Nacional de Azul (2000), First Prize at the Salón Quinquela Martín (2012), and various honors in Argentine national competitions. He has also served as an advisor in Visual Arts at the National University of Lanús, consolidating a career that combines artistic creation, cultural management, and teaching.
