Enrique Rodríguez García, known artistically as "Guzpeña", is a painter born in Prado de la Guzpeña (León), the town from which he takes his pseudonym; he began his studies of Fine Arts in 1982 at the University of the Basque Country, where he specialized in painting, and since the late 80's he has developed a continuous trajectory within the Spanish contemporary art, participating in the foundation of Grupo Fragua and settling in Almanza (León), from where he has projected his work in numerous exhibitions and contests; His painting is characterized by a combination of geometric abstraction, symbolism and expressive use of color, organized in thematic series such as Mayos y ramos, Tendales or El planeta de la memoria, and throughout his career he has received several awards and recognitions, consolidating himself as an outstanding figure in the current artistic panorama.
