Luis Espejo Ledesma, an artist better known as “Luis Feo,” has received numerous awards for his work (Faculty of Fine Arts Award at the National Speed Painting Competition held at Madrid’s El Retiro Park in 1998; in 2000, the Prize at the National Graphic Arts Competition for Young Creators organized by the National Chalcography Institute and a lithography fellowship from the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Mallorca; the “Francisco Zurbarán” Fellowship for Young Artists from the Regional Government of Extremadura in 2002 and 2009; etc.). His work has been exhibited in numerous cities (Alicante, Madrid, Guadalajara, Barcelona, etc.) and is held in both private collections and major institutions (the Faculty of Fine Arts at the UCM in Madrid, the National Library, the Museum of Fine Arts in Badajoz, etc.).
