Slasky’s work lies at the intersection of conceptual art, collage, digital intervention, and neo-pop, distinguished by his reinterpretation of major works from art history through a contemporary lens, establishing a thought-provoking dialogue between the legacy of the classical masters and contemporary visual culture. Baroque painting—and in particular the work of Caravaggio—is one of his primary sources of inspiration. Drawing on iconic compositions from the Renaissance and the Baroque periods, Slasky incorporates elements of mass culture—such as fashion magazines, luxury brand logos, advertising imagery, and urban references—to create visually striking images that reflect on consumption, identity, and the relevance of classical art. Far from completely transforming the original works, he recontextualizes them through a careful juxtaposition of symbols that generates a powerful conceptual contrast.

Among his most representative series are *Neo Urban Classic* and *After Iconography*, in which figures from historical paintings burst into contemporary settings or interact with everyday objects and emblems of today’s society. The result is a clean, sophisticated, and easily recognizable visual language, capable of combining respect for artistic tradition with a critical and thoroughly contemporary interpretation.

His international reputation has been solidified through solo and group exhibitions in Europe and Asia. In 2019, he was one of the artists selected by the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam to participate in the exhibition *Long Live Rembrandt*, a significant recognition of his contemporary reinterpretation of the great masters. He is currently represented by the Bel-Air Fine Art gallery, and his works are part of private collections and are exhibited in galleries around the world.
